Jack V. Wrbanich
State Warden

Brother Knight Jack Wrbanich first joined the Knights of Columbus since 2003, joining the Donald J. Godfrey Council #6726 in Goose Creek, South Carolina. Jack and his wife Lisa moved to Green Bay in 2004, transferring to Fort Howard Council #5382 in Green Bay.  Jack has held several council officer positions including; Grand Knight, Deputy Grand Knight and Recorder.  While serving as Grand Knight, Fort Howard Council #5382 was one of only eight Councils in the state to receive Supremes’ Star Council Award for the Fraternal Year 2010-2011. Jack’s has provided his service in other Council duties that included Council Historian; Program Coordinator; Public Relations Director (responsible for publishing Council newsletter and maintaining council’s website), Insurance Promotion Coordinator and member of the First Degree Team.  Jack has been selected as his Councils Knight of the Year, Knight of the Month, and he and Lisa have been selected as Family of the Month and Family of the year on several occasions. Jack has represented Council #5382 at the State Convention for five years and was selected as a Delegate to the Supreme Convention in 2010 held in Washington, DC.

Jack joined the Fourth Degree in 2004 and is a member of the Marquette Assembly #1197 where he held the position of Faithfull Comptroller for four years and is an active member of the Honor Guard.

On the State Level, Jack stepped in briefly as the State Life Savers for Life Coordinator before being appointed by the State Deputy as the Green Bay Diocesan Program Coordinator - a position he held for two years before being elected to the position of State Warden. Jack was been instrumental in coordinating various Diocesan youth competitions, Diocesan meetings as well as attending several District Deputy meetings throughout the Green Bay Dioceses. During the 2011 State Convention held in Green Bay, with Jack’s leadership, direction and assistance form his local council, they were responsible for setting up and coordinating the numerous family tours throughout the Green Bay area.  Additionally, Jack was appointed by the State Deputy as a member of the Credentials Committee and Caucus Leader for two State Conventions.

Jack is very active in his parish of St. Jude/Quad-Parish, serving as Eucharistic Minister, served on the Parish Council and was selected by his parish as their Parish Secretary-Trustee and is a member of the Evangelization and Stewardship commission.  Additionally, Jack volunteers as a Minister of Care, bring Communion to local nursing home and homebound parishioners.  Jack also developed and maintains the Green Bay Quad-Parish website.

Jack is a 25 year Navy Veteran, retiring in 1998 as a commission officer.  He and his wife Lisa have been married since 1992 and are members of St. Jude Parish.
