We pray for: George Walter
George is going to have surgery for a very aggressive type of bladder cancer. He really needs prayers. Also remember the family asking our Lord to bestow upon them strength during these tough times.

We pray for: Past State Deputy Robert Bodden
Past State Deputy Robert J. Bodden age 91, was called home to the Lord, Wednesday, June 23, 2010. Please keep Brother Robert and his family in your prayers.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Monday, June 28, 2010, at the ST. MARY'S CATHOLIC CHURCH, Platteville. Burial will be at Calvary Cemetery, Platteville. Friends may call from 2 p.m. - 7 p.m. Sunday, June 27, 2010, at the church, where there will be a Knights of Columbus Rosary prayed at 2 p.m. Friends may also call from 9:30 a.m. - 10:30 a.m. at the church on Monday.

We pray for: SIr Worthy Knight Ed Hamlin
Good news: Ed begins BCG treatments this Friday for 6 weeks, then another biopsy. Whatever little bit of cancer the Dr. saw was burned off, and nothing else was found anywhere else with the pathology report. Please pass along to interested parties for us. Prayers of thanksgiving also need to be said! Thank you all, for your prayers, cards, e-mails, phone calls, masses.

Please remember Arlene Bablick, wife of Sir Knight Charles Bablick, in your prayers. Arlene is having some major health issues and needs our prayers. Charlie needs prayers too as he deals with this. As I talked to him this morning, I could see the worry on his face. I'm sure he wouldn't mind hearing from you as well.

We pray for: Sir Worthy Knight Edward Hamlin
This is a correction of the previous posting. Ed will be operated on for a tumor on his bladder on April 30. Ed is a member of Father Dodge Council, 7827 in Woodruff. Ed is also a member of Assembly 1221 in Rhinelander.

Sir Knight George Hammes is undergoing radiation and chemo therapy for esophageal cancer. Sir George is a member of Holmen Council 9385.

We pray for: Ken Williams
Ken is recovering from his third cancer surgury and he should be going home from the hospital soon. He is a brother Knight in Council 9385.

We pray for: Knight Fred Pertzborn
Knight Fred Pertzborn of Council 11155 is suffering from brain cancer and is back in the hospital. The treatments have not helped stem the progression of this disease.

Sir Knight Stanley Mataczynski was called home by our Lord on March 3, 2010. Stan is a Life member of Ladysmith's Fr.Riesenmy Council 2481 and Henry A. Roberts Assembly 2156. He was a Knight for 64 years and will be truely missed by his Brother Knights.

Sir Knight Jim Weisenberger of Fr. Riesenmy Council 2481 Ladysmith and Henry A. Roberts Assembly 2156, Ladysmith suffered a stroke and is in Sacred Heart Hospital, Eau Claire, WI.

Our dearest Deacon and Sir Knight Ronald Novotny, 3rd Degree Council 2137 - Rev.C.F.Schmitt, Rice Lake and 4th Degree Assembly 1691 - Msgr. Meyer, Cumberland, and a faithful servant of St. Joseph Church was called home by our Lord on the evening of February 23, 2010. He will be deeply missed by evry Knight, Sir Knight and parishioner who knew him.
